Modern bathtubs are equipped with overflows and waste drains and can even have faucets mounted on them. They may be built into a surrounding wall, but these days, they often stand freely within the bathroom or are recessed until acrylic thermoforming makes other shapes possible. Virtually all bathtubs, previously were roughly rectangular. Bathtubs are most commonly white but may also be found in many other colors.
